Frequently Asked Questions
Will this make me fail a drug test?
Yes, you absolutely will fail a drug test if you smoke our THCa cannabis. While our products are federally legal because they contain less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC by dry weight, they naturally contain THCa, which converts into Delta-9 THC when heated or smoked and will cause you to test positive for THC.
Unfortunately, you cannot smoke our cannabis if you need to pass a drug test for marijuana.
What's the difference between THCa and Delta-9 THC?
THCa (Tetrahydrocannabinolic Acid) is the most abundant cannabinoid in all cannabis. Although it is non-psychoactive in its natural state, when cannabis is heated (through smoking, vaping, or cooking), THCa loses a carboxyl group in a process called decarboxylation and converts into the psychoactive Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol.
What makes this weed legal?
All cannabis naturally produces mostly THCa and only a small amount of Delta-9 THC naturally converted from THCA during the drying and curing process. Our weed is third-party tested to ensure federal legality under the 2018 Agriculture Improvement Act.
What are cannabinoids and terpenes?
Cannabinoids are chemical compounds unique to the cannabis plant, including THC and CBD. Interestingly, they are also produced naturally by the human body, known as endocannabinoids.
Terpenes are a diverse group of organic compounds present in many plants, fruits, and herbs, not just cannabis. They are responsible for the plant's distinctive aroma and effects, with examples such as Myrcene, Caryophyllene, Pinene, and Limonene, which contribute scents and flavors like pine, citrus, pepper, and floral notes.
What makes our quality better?
We partner with expert boutique growers we've carefully selected because of their top-quality products. First, the flower must meet our high potency standards, but what’s even harder to find is bud with maximum terpenes and a rich flavor profile.
